 Interferometry and Optical Testing
We have extensive experience with all aspects of interferometry and optical testing. We have prior experience running one of the top optical testing labs in the world, and are familiar with considerations for lab design, including vibration isolation and temperature control. We are familiar with hardware and software of most commercially available equipment by Zygo, Tropel, etc. We are experienced with evaluating various testing methods and its applicability to measurement requirements.
 Project Management
With prior experience managing projects including metrology lab construction and work-flow planning, technology transfer of new equipment or processes from development to production, optical system development, designed experiments, etc, we are able to manage projects in a professional and efficient manner. Successful project management comes from consistent, frequent communication and working well with a "team" of internal and external customers and vendors. We have been fortunate to work for and learn from very talented project managers in our prior work experience.
 Training
We are known for our ability to take sometimes very complex optical concepts and explain them in simple-to-understand terms. We have been contracted to provide written and course materials for operators and non-optical training personnel on optical equipment and concepts. We have provided basic interferometry training to manufacturing plants and also training for automating Zygo instruments using MetroScript scripting language. We are prepared to develop customized training and can handle the entire process, including arranging facilities, providing supporting materials (software, training manuals), feedback evaluation, and certificates of completion.
 Photogrammetry
Photogrammetry is a method of optical testing that uses digital images to reconstruct 3D information about the scene. Using photogrammetry, one can create accurate 3D measurements of things such as buildings, industrial equipment, crime scenes (skid marks, etc), or measurements of typically hard to get at areas. Also, using photogrammetry, one can generate 3D images of objects for use in video games, etc. Its not nearly as accurate as interferometry, for example, but can be the best option for many otherwise challenging measurements. There are many considerations toward maximizing accuracy in projects. Jacobian Technologies' experience with using Photogrammetry for measurements can be used to your advantage.
